Professor Gabrielle Appleby, Director of The Judiciary Project at the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law, has been involved in organising a letter signed by hundreds of women across the legal profession to the Attorney-General calling on him to make reforms to the discipling and appointment of judges, following the investigation into sexual misconduct by Dyson Heydon AC QC. The women also wrote to the Chief Justice thanking her for her response to the complaints against Mr Heydon.
